Meet the Team

Amanda is from a small town in Northwest Ohio, but has called Columbus home for the past 20 years. She is a mom to a teenage boy and a lazy German Shepherd. Not only is an agent for the company, but is also our office manager and Lew’s assistant. She started her career in health insurance and administration and moved into property and casualty two years ago. Our customers are always impressed with Amanda’s ability to save them money and she takes pride in giving them the best experience. When asked what a good moment in her career was, she said, “A long-time client called having a bad day. His windshield cracked and he was low on money. Not only did I get to tell him he had full glass coverage but with a quick conversation, I was able to increase his coverage and save him a little money. He was so relieved, and I was very happy to help.”

Christa is a native Ohioan, growing up in Pickerington. She is a senior level staff member with vast knowledge of insurance. She has been in the insurance industry for 17 years, 11 of them being with Lew Griffin Insurance. She loves going camping and spending time with her husband and two grown kids. We know and appreciate how special she is, and our customers do too, “Christa has been our agent for several years now, and she has been consistently wonderful! She is friendly, informative, and very responsive to all our concerns. I have referred several friends to her already, and I will continue to do so!”

Drew Kessler was born and raised in Gahanna and is proud to serve the community

he calls home. He is a graduate of Ohio University, where he earned a double major

in Finance and Economics. With over 15 years of experience in the financial

industry, Drew has built his career around a community-first approach, focusing on

long-term relationships and trusted guidance. He is an active member of the

Gahanna Rotary and supports local youth through his involvement with Gahanna

Junior League sports non-profits. Drew is passionate about giving back and helping

individuals and families make confident financial decisions.

Lew is the man that started it all. He passed his life insurance exam on a bet with his dad. He opened Lew Griffin Insurance in 1996 and has insured thousands of local families and businesses  since. Lew feels personally called to engage in the community and be a part of the growth of Gahanna, he sits on the board of directors for Gahanna Parks and Rec, is the president of the Creekside District Alliance, and he formally sat on the school board. In his spare time you can usually catch him supporting the sports and activities of his seven grandsons! He puts his priorities in this order: Walking his faith, spending time with family, and connecting with others through his business.

Lisa has been in the insurance industry for 4 years, and has proven to be extremely proficient and valuable to the LGI team! She has used her management skills acquired in the hospitality industry to be a wonderful asset to our commercial clients. Lisa is a mom to three kids and two pups, and her husband can be seen by her side at almost every community event that Lew Griffin Insurance sponsors. She also has a knack for interior design, so don’t be afraid to ask her for advice on home decor!
